Atención: give up + V-ing (no infinitivo con to) ✅ He gave up trying to explain. ❌ He gave up to try to explain.
BLOW UP — explotar / perder los nervios
The RV blew up in the finale. Hank blew up at Walter when he discovered the truth.
Dos significados: explosión física o explosión emocional.
TURN OUT — resultar, acabar siendo
It turned out that Heisenberg was Walter White all along. (Resultó que Heisenberg era Walter White desde el principio.)
COVER UP — encubrir
Walter spent years covering up his double life. (Walter pasó años encubriendo su doble vida.)
Phrasal Verbs separables vs inseparables
Algunos phrasal verbs se pueden separar con un pronombre. Otros no.
Separables:

Inseparables:
✅ We ran out of time. (no se puede poner el pronombre en medio) ❌ We ran time out of. ✗

❌ They blew up the situation from nothing. ✅ They blew the situation out of proportion. (expresión fija)
